A Christmas Carol

A Christmas Carol

Adapted from the original story by Charles Dickens, the Gamlingay Players present their Christmas show written by Patrick Barlow.

On Christmas Eve 1842, Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by a series of ghosts, starting with his old business partner, Jacob Marley. The three spirits which follow, the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Yet to Come, show Scrooge how his mean behaviour has affected those around him and the fate that will befall him should he continue his cruel ways. Time is running out for Scrooge to open his heart to Christmas and become the generous soul that those around him feel they will never see.

A Christmas Carol will be performed at Gamlingay EcoHub, on Friday 30 November 2018 at 7.45pm and on Saturday 1 December at 3pm and 7.45pm.
